How to put the cherry on the cake

In May:
week- in the Khmer way of life”) by Sylvain-Moizie premieres, as well as the new Simon Hureau book based on his travels in Cambodia.

All at ILLIKO, focused on what Europeans call the ‘9th Art’.

(Robot Translation:) The cities which organize festivals of comics or salons of comic books count today in a number but finally very little of them take the party taken to make these demonstrations, true moments of meetings and complicities between the authors and the public.Nous let us attach a great importance to the contact and the exchange to support the relations with draughtsmen and illustrators creative and available. With through our support for these artists, we also wish to give the word to the creation and not to the industry of the 9th art.

This 5e edition will be once more the occasion to gather a community d¹artists having for common point the talented and complementary fact of being in their work. The stress will in addition be laid on the presentation of original works and the organization of workshops of creation. Singular demonstration in the regional cultural landscape, illiko will propose, during a whole week, of many exposures and meetings of draughtsmen authors and astonishing illustrators; school workshops with Bruno Heitz with the media library youth; the famous contest of illustration having this year for topic “How to put cherry on the cake?” and finally, a weekend of strong times during which the public will be able to make some shopping (books of course!!!), to attend the varnishing of the exposures, to take part in meetings dedications with the authors and to enjoy the concert of Parrondo.

In short, a 5e eclectic edition, rich in surprised and especially far from the folderols. To consume without moderation!
