The Wave Collapses

the wave collapses

Alice and Martina would like to invite you to the launch of:
The Wave Collapses
– comic book adventure game

The book will be launched at the 2006 Next Wave Festival Opening night

Tuesday 14 March, 7pm
Next Wave’s Containers Village, Shed 14, Docklands, Melbourne

Stickers can then be found at selected Next Wave Festival sites

(books are also available at Bus Gallery, Loop, Gertrude Contemporary Art Space and Sticky).

Finish Line Party…2 April, 3pm at LOOP, 23 Meyers Place, Melbourne

The Wave Collapses is an interactive comic book adventure game happening in Melbourne during the 2006 Next Wave Festival. The story follows two friends as they explore the city, scratching the surface to reveal the entangled physics of urban interactions.

Starting with a comic book laden with clues and maps you construct the narrative by collecting stickers of the missing images and dialogue. What happens depends on where you go, what you find, and how you complete the story.

www.banditfox.com/wave

The Wave Collapses is the second collaborative work from sister team Alice + Martina Mrongovius following Singularity, a comic book about convenience stores versus quantum physics published by Banditfox in 2002.
